You Understand What's Awesome? This Poster for Shame
My first reply to the completely new poster for Steve McQueen’s acclaimed drama Shame was natural, possibly apparent: “But where’s Michael Fassbender?” The guy only disappeared while using Venice Film Festival award for top Actor which is around the track for serious contention in this year’s Oscar Index and is probably the smartest rising stars in many of cinema and makes as well as males alike swoon along with his bracing appearance. (To convey nothing of similarly absentee co-star Carey Mulligan.) But that reaction seems forever ago, lodged inside the several hours since i have have haven’t had the chance to avoid searching advertising online. The simple truth is this foretells both serious moviegoer who’s familiar with Shame’s prestige and doesn’t need faces to promote it to them as well as the casual moviegoer who might frequently hear a peep relevant for this but knows the implications from the untidy bed mattress placed while using word “SHAME.” Sexy! Vivid! Dramatic! It’s not just for 10-year-olds who not successful to tug within the sheets before dashing to school any more. Anyway, most of us remember what went lower the ultimate time Fassbender went within the forefront on for your entrepreneurs, so technically professionals got whatever they wanted. It’s a perfect poster! Well carried out, Fox Searchlight. [via THR]
