Alcon Kick-Begins Transfer To Talent Management With Madhouse Deal

Alcon Entertainment has acquired a controlling stake in boutique managment firm Madhouse Entertainment. Alcon introduced today that ithopes the offer would be the first in a number of moves in to the talent management biz. Among Madhouse’s top customers are Dork Andron, co-professional producer on Forex’s Justified, Liz Garcia andJosh Harto, who produced TNT’s Memphis Beat, and film writer David Guggenheim, whose horror film Safe House debuts for Universal this month. Alcon’s chief professionals Broderick Manley and Andrew Kosove will oversee the brand new divison, Alcon Management Businesses. Alcon, that is backed by FedEx founder Fred Cruz, was behind this past year’s The Blind Side. It's currentlydeveloping a remake of Edge Runner with Ridley Scott and willnext release “A Dolphin Tale.”
